Longines Conquest watch worn on a wrist, illustrating watch proportions and styling at The Gilded Hour.

Old world watches. New tricks.

The Vintage Gazette · Your digital dressing room

Just because we curate the old world doesn’t mean our technology has to stay there.

A watch belongs with the things you wear. Our virtual watch try on lets you imagine it on your wrist, alongside your bracelets, rings and favourite sleeve. Our jewellery tray gives you somewhere to lay out the pieces that catch your eye. Browse, compare, then meet your favourite on your wrist.

Find “See it on your wrist”

Open a watch product page and look beneath Case size and Wrist fit. The camera button reads See it on your wrist. It appears on pieces with a prepared wrist preview.

On desktop

The wrist preview sits beside the product photographs, below the size and fit details. The tray button is directly underneath.

On mobile

Scroll past the photographs and purchase buttons to find the same size, fit and preview section.

Meet it on your wrist

  1. Tap See it on your wrist and choose the closest circumference: 14, 15, 16 or 17 cm.
  2. Tap Open camera and allow camera access when your browser asks.
  3. Hold your wrist across the screen, with your hand extending beyond the right edge. Match the wrist outline at the watch.
  4. Bring your everyday jewellery into view. Compare the watch’s presence, shape and colour with your own stack.
  5. Tap Capture this shot, then Save or share photo. Use Retake for another look.

If the camera will not open inside an app, open the product page in Safari or Chrome on your phone. Saving and sharing options depend on your device.

The preview gives an approximate sense of proportion. Angle, distance and wrist alignment affect the result. Check the listed case measurements and maximum wrist fit before choosing. Camera photos stay on your device unless you choose to share them.

Your jewellery tray

Some pieces deserve a second look. Set them aside in your tray as you browse, then arrange them together to compare case shapes, dial colours, straps and approximate proportions. It is a little jewellery counter of your own.

Build your own edit

  1. Use the tray button on a product page to set a piece aside. Once saved, it reads In my tray.
  2. Open the floating My tray button at the bottom of the screen to see your favourites together.
  3. Select a watch to see its details. Use the arrow buttons to move the selected piece and arrange your comparison.
  4. Choose View piece to revisit its photographs, condition report and wrist preview.
  5. Use Remove to refine your shortlist. For an available piece, Add to cart takes the next step; View cart opens your shopping cart.

Use the small downward arrow to minimise the tray and keep browsing.

A few ways to use it

Find your proportions

Put a petite rectangular watch beside a broader round case. Compare their presence, then open each wrist preview to see which feels right on you.

Choose your palette

Lay out a champagne dial, a darker dial and a cognac strap. See which colours belong with the jewellery you reach for every day.

Curate an occasion

Build an everyday edit or a cocktail shortlist. Keep the pieces you love together while you consider the outfit, the mood and your budget.

Your tray is saved in this browser on this device. It is a shortlist and does not reserve stock. Sold out pieces can remain as inspiration and are labelled clearly. Prices and availability may change after these screenshots were taken. Tap a screenshot to enlarge it.
