✨ 1. Wind with Intention

If your watch is manual, wind it once a day ideally in the morning using gentle, consistent turns. Don’t overwind; stop the moment you feel resistance. Quartz watches don’t need winding, but they do need battery changes every 1–2 years.

💧 2. Avoid Water, Always

Even if it says “water resistant,” vintage watches aren’t built for splashes or submersion. Time degrades seals, and vintage designs rarely meet today’s waterproof standards.

Apply perfume or lotion before putting your watch on to protect the strap and case.

Wipe it down with a microfiber cloth after wear. For metal bands, a soft, lightly damp cloth works — but avoid the crown and edges. Never submerge vintage pieces.
