Leather Strap Care Guide
Leather watch straps are made to be worn, but a little care will help preserve their shape, colour, and finish.
Avoid wearing your leather strap in the shower, while swimming, or in prolonged moisture. Perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and hand cream can also mark or soften the leather over time, so we recommend letting these dry before putting your watch on.
After wear, allow the strap to breathe before storing it. If it feels warm or damp from the wrist, leave it in open air until dry before placing it back in a box or drawer.
For light cleaning, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. If needed, use a slightly damp cloth and allow the strap to dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight.
For occasional conditioning, apply a small amount of approved leather moisturiser every 3 to 6 months, depending on how often the strap is worn. Use a soft cloth or fingertip to apply a very thin layer to the outer leather surface only, then gently buff away any excess with a clean dry cloth. Allow the strap to dry naturally before wearing.
Avoid applying moisturiser to the underside of the strap, stitching, or lining, as this may soften the structure or affect comfort against the skin.
To extend the life of your strap, we recommend rotating between straps where possible, especially in warmer weather or with daily wear.
