The beauty of this Gucci 5300M begins with the dial. A luminous mother of pearl surface shifts between soft ivory, blush and flashes of iridescent colour as the light moves across it, allowing the dial itself to become the decoration.

Everything else is kept deliberately restrained. Slender gold tone hands sit beneath the Gucci signature and interlocking GG motif, while the broad polished case creates a smooth frame around the dial without interrupting its natural shimmer.

Look closer and the lugs become just as distinctive. Double ridged gold tone bars sit above and below the case, adding a sculptural, almost jewellery like detail before the watch transitions into its black leather strap. Soft through the dial, structured through the case. A beautifully balanced Gucci design.
