A wash of green, cream and pale pink moves across this Gucci’s mother of pearl dial. The open face carries only slender gold tone hands, the Gucci signature above and a small interlocking G emblem below. Around it, a broad polished gold tone frame gives the shifting colour a warm, rounded border.

Ribbed gold tone fittings sit above and below the case, bringing a sculptural rhythm to the narrow black leather strap. The contrast of the generous face and slim strap gives this piece a clear jewellery presence without crowding the wrist. It works especially well with black evening clothes, where the pearl dial can catch the light beside a simple gold ring or cuff.
