The HIRSCH Rainbow is a finely proportioned calf leather watch strap with a polished lizard-embossed finish. In blue, it introduces controlled colour while preserving the delicacy of a smaller watch case.
The colour works beautifully with yellow gold, gold-tone and stainless steel cases, especially alongside white, silver, champagne and mother-of-pearl dials. Its polished finish keeps the blue composed and grown-up rather than bright or casual.

Why we selected the Rainbow in blue
Many replacement straps are too thick or heavily stitched for a petite vintage watch. The Rainbow takes a more refined approach. Its slender profile allows the case to remain the focus, while the close lizard embossing introduces depth without visual weight.
Blue is the most expressive option in the Rainbow range, but its slender profile keeps the effect restrained. It creates elegant contrast against yellow gold, feels crisp beside stainless steel and draws out the cooler flashes in mother-of-pearl. The result adds personality without overpowering the watch.
Sizing
Choose the exact attachment width
Measure the inside distance between the watch lugs in millimetres. The selected attachment width must match this measurement exactly. The strap is made in HIRSCH Medium length, with a 70 mm buckle side and a 110 mm tail side.
Measure the lugs
Measure the clear internal space where the strap connects to the watch case.
Match the width
A 12 mm lug opening requires the 12 mm strap. Do not size up or compress a wider strap.
Check the lug type
Quick Release fitting requires conventional open lugs with removable spring bars.

Material and care
Lizard texture without genuine lizard skin
The Rainbow is made from calf leather that is embossed to create its fine scale pattern. It is not made from genuine lizard leather.
Avoid showering, swimming and prolonged moisture. Keep perfume, sunscreen and hand cream away from the leather where possible. After wear, allow the strap to air naturally and wipe it gently with a clean, dry cloth.

Is the watch in the photographs included?
No. This listing is for the HIRSCH Rainbow watch strap only. Watches shown in photographs are used to demonstrate styling, proportion and fit.
How do I choose the correct attachment width?
Measure the clear internal distance between the watch lugs in millimetres and select the exact matching width. A 12 mm lug opening requires a 12 mm strap.
Does the strap include a buckle and spring bars?
Yes. The strap is supplied with a HIRSCH pin buckle and integrated HIRSCH Quick Release spring bars.
Do I need a strap-changing tool?
A separate tool is generally not required on compatible watches. The small lever underneath each Quick Release spring bar allows it to be compressed by hand.
Will Quick Release work with every watch?
No. The watch must have conventional open lugs and use removable spring bars. Quick Release is not suitable for fixed-bar watches, integrated bracelets or proprietary fittings.
Is this genuine lizard leather?
No. The Rainbow uses calf leather with a lizard-embossed surface. It provides the refined scale pattern without using genuine lizard skin.
