A small study in classic Swiss dress watch proportion. The ivory dial is ringed with black Roman numerals and a fine minute track, with the Longines name beneath twelve, a framed date at three and slim gold tone hands that keep the face calm and legible. The polished gold tone bezel warms the round steel case, giving the piece the presence of a little jewel rather than a purely functional timekeeper.

The two tone bracelet is the real flourish. Gold tone centre links run through articulated steel, tapering into a Longines signed folding clasp. At 23mm it wears petite and balanced, with a mixed metal palette that slips easily beside both yellow gold and silver jewellery.
