A beautifully restrained Seiko Exceline formed around a deep black dial, a sharply layered two tone case and a single gold marker at 12 o’clock. The clipped octagonal silhouette is repeated through the bezel and inner dial border, creating a precise sequence of polished frames around the minimal two hand display.

Its late modernist design balances strict geometry with the softer proportions of a jewellery watch. The black leather strap and silver, gold and black palette make it particularly elegant with monochrome tailoring, cream knitwear, silk blouses and restrained mixed metal jewellery.
