A small sailboat appears above the dial like a private emblem, set against a champagne field cut with fine radial grooves. The black centre gives the face real depth, while the shaped gold tone hands meet in an angular composition that feels closer to graphic design than a conventional dress watch. Tiny polished markers keep the outer field open and allow the texture to catch the light.
The case flows directly into a broad gold tone bracelet, giving this Seiko Galaxy the presence of a solid cuff despite its petite dial. Its playful nautical detail is restrained enough for tailored clothes, but unusual enough to carry a simple evening look without another piece of jewellery.
