This Seiko Exceline turns repetition into its defining detail. Wide horizontal bands travel across the champagne dial, echoing the closely set ribs of the bamboo bracelet and drawing the oval case into one continuous gold form. Fine baton markers and two slim hands keep the display restrained, while the dark cabochon crown adds a precise point of contrast.

The bamboo bracelet gives the watch the presence of jewellery, catching light in narrow flashes as the wrist moves. Petite through the dial but broad across the wrist, it is a particularly striking example of late century Seiko design and wears beautifully alone or beside fine gold pieces.
