The Lassale design studio was founded on the idea that a watch should be wearable art first and a timekeeper second, and this piece embodies that philosophy completely. The case is a soft faceted shape, somewhere between an oval and an octagon, framed in warm gold that catches light along every edge. It flows straight into a wide woven bracelet, so the entire watch reads as a single sheet of gold that happens to hold a dial in the middle.
The dial is where the magic happens. A deep bordeaux surround holds a central panel in brushed gold with a fine honeycomb texture. The colour combination is rich and moody yet still elegant. At the top sit two tiny applied dots like small cabochons, a quiet nod to jewellery design. Gold stick hands glide over the surface. Tied together with a tightly woven golden bracelet that feels calm against the back drop of bold energy this piece gives off.
