A striking Yves Saint Laurent shaped around a broad square case, oversized Roman numeral dial and sculptural two tone bracelet. The gold tone outer frame is divided into rounded stepped sections, giving the watch the appearance of a miniature piece of decorative metalwork rather than a conventional flat bezel. Inside, a white dial is arranged across two levels. Large black Roman numerals circle the outer field, while a raised central square holds the gold tone hands and small YSL Cassandre monogram. A discreet date window sits at 6 o’clock, interrupting the numeral ring with a practical detail.

The bracelet continues the same layered geometry through brushed steel panels, rounded links and narrow gold tone rails. Bold in construction but controlled in colour, it captures the confident decorative style of late century French fashion.
