This Yves Saint Laurent women’s watch is centred around a beautifully layered white medallion dial that transforms a simple round watch into a piece of jewellery and was part of the collaboration between YSL & Citizen to create a line of beautiful & reliable pieces. Beneath a gently domed crystal, a broad white outer disc frames a raised hour ring, which then steps inward to a softly recessed silver centre. The result is a remarkable sense of depth and dimension, with light and shadow shifting across the dial as the watch moves on the wrist. Delicate gold tone hands and a discreet YSL signature complete the composition without disturbing its elegant balance.

The design draws inspiration from decorative medallions and classical ornament, where concentric layers are used to create depth around a central focal point. The stepped construction recalls the hierarchy of neoclassical ceiling rosettes and framed architectural details, while the white, silver and gold palette gives the watch a refined jewellery led character. Gold tone stirrup inspired connectors suspend the case between a finely detailed two tone bracelet, creating a seamless transition from dial to bracelet. The result is sophisticated, feminine and unmistakably Yves Saint Laurent.
